I have to read a bunch for school (summer Hw!!!) but for just reading for the heck of it....
I'm reading the Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy.. I've only read the first chapter though.... ------------------ ~Meg~ *Opportunity does not knock, and then ring the doorbell, and then knock again, and then leave a note that says, "Sorry I missed you" and then call you on the phone.* +Life's not a garden, so stop acting like a ho+ We are not groupies. Groupies sleep with rock stars because they want to be near someone famous. We are Band-Aids. ~Almost Famous "It's like the mist is what's pretty, ya know...all gold and silver. Too bad it can't stay like that all the time." "Nothing gold can stay" |

Well, I have to read 4 books this summer. I've been out for two and a half weeks and I just started reading the first one yesterday. I decided to read the ones that don't have writing assignments with them first. Anyway, so right now I'm reading Something Wicked This Way Comes by Ray Bradbury. It's... weird. Bery, very weird. Definitely weirder than Fahrenheit 451.

Currently reading "Bridget Jones's Diary." Hysterical. I read "The Outsiders" a long time ago. Good book. I'm not too keen on Bradbury (not a fan of science-fiction), but I did like "The Martian Chronicles."
I'm so glad I don't have to do summer homework anymore. [This message has been edited by Miller15 (edited 06-22-2001).] |

I'm not a science fiction fan either. I had to read Fahrenheit 451 in school for English, and I have to read Something Wicked this summer. lus, in seventh grade I had to read a Martian Chronicles condensed version thing or something.... Ayway, I prefer to stay away from science fiction, but there was a few books I LOVED that were science fic/fantasy. The His Dark Materials trilogy by Philip Pullman. Really, really good!
