Default Did you know the Happy Days kitchen set was used in the movie...

MOMMIE DEAREST starring Faye Dunaway? From the first time I seen this movie when it first came out to this day when it is shown on television (it was shown the other night) I can't help but laugh at the scene which shows the Happy Days kitchen...

On IMDB it states this as a matter of fact:

The part of the film in which 'Crawford, Joan' substitutes for her daughter Christina Crawford on the soap opera was filmed on the Cunningham living room and kitchen set from "Happy Days" (1974).

This movie may be campy, but I love it! Although the book MOMMIE DEAREST is much better.

Joan will send you a telegram for your birthday for the rest of your life because you forgot to send her a card.

I read the book once. I will have to get it out and check it, but if you say so, I believe you. There were so many crazy ass things that Joan allegedly did...that one probably didn't stick in my head like the other stuff...

Irene, did you check this out? It's worth the download time. Check out Joan's face when she is asked about her kids.
