Default What If...???

What if Richie and Ralph hadn't gone into the army and instead kept living their lives as they had before?? Would Richie have ended up pursuing a career as a journalist?? Ralph as a...well, I don't know exactly what he was going to college for.

Perhaps Chachi could have gone away to all all boys school far far away...and stayed there!!

Any fantasy scenarios - provided they don't involve Roger, Flip, KC, Jenny or any of the post-season 7 characters - would be preferable to what actually happened on the actual show.

Would Fonzie have settled down perhaps?? Who would Joanie have ended up since Chachi went away to an all-male boarding school and died after a night of binge drinking as part of a club initiation.

Dr. Thong GET REALISTIC NOW!!!!! lmao...j/k...

I don't like the fact they went into the service.

I hate the Chachi character period!!! They should have brought in Spike if they wanted to bring in a younger person for the audience. that would have been AWESOME.

Richie probably would have become a writer or journalist with the Milwaukee journal. I'm sure his job would have left him plenty of time to hang out with his family and the Fonz.
Another idea would be Richie becoming a reporter with a local TV station, doing live broadcasts on location, etc.

As for Ralph, he tried to make it a go as an optometrist with his Dad, but he gets his big break hosting a daily kiddie show as "Uncle Ralphie," and becomes a big hit with the under 10 citizens of Milwaukee.

Potsie? He's still a potsie.

What would have been nice is to see Richie be in the same room as Lori Beth when he got married.

Yeah, Chachi should've been sent to an all boys school and never came back and I'd laugh if he died after a night of binge drinking as part of a club initiation and Joanie would've ended up with Fonzie.

I've often suspected that Fonzie not only filled in as stand-in for Richie, but that he also filled in on the honeymoon.

It would have been funny for Richie to come home to a little kid with dark hair who's first word was "Heyyy!"

They needed an excuse to write them out and it was convenient for them. Unrealistic though, as I don't think the draft was in effect in the early '60s. We weren't at war - Vietnam was still a couple of years away - so I don't think they draft in peacetime.

I think if you and I got to hang out Irene, we'd probably laugh our asses off. And probably drive each other crazy with our analyses!!

Spike was cool. I could take him making an occasional guest appearance. But the dreaded Chachi...ugh!

Actually, I was in Ontario, Calif last month. I don't know if that's Southern Calif, but I was there!

What if Flip and KC ran away to New Jersey and never came back after season 10? I think that'd be so much nicer
