favorite first season episode - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

So, I just finished watching my first season of Boy Meets World, and I'm trying to decide which episode is my favorite. I think it's a tie between:

'On the Fence,'and 'It's a Wonderful Night.'

I like 'On the Fence,' because it shows the sacrifices that his dad was willing to make for the family.
I like 'It's a Wonderful Night,' because it strikes me as pretty funny. Especially the scene with Mr. Feeny and Morgan. When she has him dressed up like a woman.

What do you guys think? What's your fave episode from the first season?

Pretty much all of them. The first season of Boy Meets World shows the innocence of a child's life that is sorely missing on TV today. It was great.

Also the episode where shawn puts a cherry bomb in the mailbox. I think that was in the first season

yeah, I like the mailbox ep too. It's a classic Shawn episode. That's when his character began to form on the show.

a lot of greats, but some of the best in my opinion are "It's a Wonderful Night", "Kid Gloves", and "Risky Business"

I like the scenes at the end of risky business. The ones where cory realizes that he almost lost his baby sister!

When Cory tries to straighten his hair and gets his first kiss from Topanga...so cute!

The painting the fence/water war one? I'm not sure of the title.

I love the end scene where Cory tapes a 1500 water gun under the table for his dad and everybody ends up having a water fight in the backyard. I laughed hysterically when Morgon called the police from the counter.

I like the Mother's day episode when Topanga was reading Cory's energy with his hand and as their hands touched closely, Cory's hormonal clock started ticking. That was toward the end of sesaon one. When I saw that, I wanted these two to get together. I loved the theme song for season one as well.
