Question Should A Woman???

A woman walks into her office at work and she has flowers on her desk. She reads the card and they're not from her husband. Should the woman throw the flowers away and tell her husband that she received flowers from another man (who she has NO interest in)? Or should the woman just throw the flowers away and not mention them at all?

I would keep the flowers; they could've been from a grateful client .

Some things are better left unsaid. I'm not the jealous type, but something like that might get the hair on the back of my neck to stand up. If the woman has no interest in the guy, throw the flowers away and be done with it.

The flowers are from a co-worker, and there's a romantic intention behind them.

If there is a romantic intention from him I would definitely throw them away. If it is unwanted from the said female co-worker, then I would definitely say something to the Human Resources department. I would probably tell my husband, because we don't keep secrets from each other.

There's two possible situations.

First, is if the flowers were left for a professional reason (for example: You work in a client-type environment, and you just closed a deal and the flowers are from the client for a job well done.) In that case, bring the flowers home, leave them at work, it's all good,

Then there's the 2nd reason - a romantic intention. If I were the husband in this situation, personally, I don't think I'd want to know under THOSE circumstances. Throw them away, deal with the situation, and leave me blissfully ignorant.

I'd probably tell my husband. Like, "Can you believe this guy at work? He knows I'm happily married, yet he has the nerve to send me flowers." Unless my husband was the type to go find this guy and beat him into the next decade.

I'd give the flowers away to some other co-worker. No sense in wasting good flowers. Plus nothing says I'm not interested like finding the flowers you gave someone on someone else's desk.

Don't say anything, just get rid of the flowers and handle the situation

Well the said woman is me, As if you all didn't know

I'm about to leave work, but before I do I'm going to go by my co-workers office and talk to him about the flowers and the situation. So we'll see how this goes.

I should have known. This thread sounded so much like a Solomon thread... good luck with the co-worker.

Brieanna let me explain something to you. As HOT as you are, you have to make sure you are not too FRIENDLY in the office because most guys will run with that and think they have a chance with you. Now if you was a COYOTE, you can be friendly with everyone in the office-lol But always remember that most pretty women can't be TOO NICE/SMILEY around men. So the fact that you received received flowers from that guy, you must have ACCEPTED LUNCH INVITATIONS or too friendly.
