I like some of it. I don't like all the self-pitying ones though, you know? "My car broke down, I lost my job, you left me, my dog died..." I hate those ones about their problems, but I do like Shania Twain's songs.

I used to call myself the "biggest oxymoron in the state of KY" because I could not stand country. Then, on the way to spring break sophomore year we listened to the Dixie Chicks and I actually liked it. Suprised the hell out of me! Anyway, I got back to school and my roommate and I were not getting along, I said I liked the DC, she made this really nasty face, I got my friend to take me to Wal-Mart and bought both CDs. Needless to say, they became a really good way to drive her out of the room whenever I wanted to, and I loved the CDs to! I'm a more open to country then I used to, but there's still a lot of it that I can't stand to listen to.

I am a HUGE fan of country music. Garth Brooks, Faith Hill, Reba MacEntire, Dixie Chicks, Tim McGraw, Brooks & Dunn, and Dolly Parton are just a few of my favorite singers/groups.

What do you get if you quit listening to country music?

Your wife and your dog back.

Lol!

Okay, this is all I'm going to say about this, and it's that I RESPECT every kind of music. But that's the word there. RESPECT. Repect doesn't mean I can't cringe every time I hear it...

The joke is supposed to say:
What do you get if you play country music backwards?

But it is still a funny joke.
