Question What do you think happens when you die?

When people get killed, where do you think their souls go? Do they go "rest" in the graveyards, until judgement day comes, do they go straight to heaven or hell right after dying, or do they keep starting their lives over as other humans/animals, which is how people get the expression, "Past lives"? Hmm.

I'm not sure. I was always taught that when a person dies that they go to heaven. So that is what I believe.

whether their spirits live on in heaven or hell or earth or another body or some other universe, they live on somewhere.

I think once someone dies, they have the ability to quickly and easily create their own surroundings and circumstances. That's what God said in the Conversations With God books, anyway. He also said that we have this ability now, it's just that many of us aren't aware of it.

So, are we talking about murder victims, or just normal dying of diseases or old age? Not that it matters, but you said it like people who get murdered are as bad as the people who killed them, with that whole judgment stuff.

People's souls live on in the people who knew them, or in the case of the more famous, people who knew of them. Other than that, you get buried or cremated and that's it.

I've said this before, but the first thing I'm going to do when I die is go to the cinema and watch Back to the Future.

I think your life is over once you're dead, I dont believe in the soul leaving the body and after life theories. Live your life wisely.

I don't believe in the afterlife. I think that once you die it's just over.

I've read a lot on this subject because I find it very interesting. From what I've read and by the experiences of thousands (not just 5 or 10) people, what happens is:
- The soul leaves the body
- The soul enters the afterlife (heaven)
- The soul experiences a "review" of its life- everything from birth to death
- The soul encounters and greets relatives and friends it knew on Earth and in Heaven before its life on Earth
- The soul resumes the life it had in heaven (the afterlife is our real home, not Earth)

I never have believed that once someone dies, that's it. What about a baby who only live for 2 weeks... that's it? An 80-year-old is allowed to live a full life, marry, have children and grandchilden and someone else lives only 2 weeks and is non-existent after that? Doesn't make sense.

I'm pretty sure nothing happens when you die. Cause you're dead. I dont believe in ghosts.

Not to turn this into a huge debate or anything, but what doesn't make sense about it? Seems pretty simple to me.

I think what Fleet may mean is that the concept is simple, but that it isn't feasible to him. Living and dying is simple enough, but the idea that someone's life can end after only a couple of weeks, whereas someone else can live to 80, just doesn't fit in with Fleet's beliefs, so therefore it doesn't make sense to him. At least, I think that's what Fleet meant.

God says in the Conversations With God books that there's no such place as Hell. We all create our own cirumstances/surroundings after we die.

Those in the afterlife are not ghosts. Ghosts are souls who are for some reason in a zone or limbo between Earth and Heaven.

As Sharop said, what I meant was if there is no afterlife, why is someone able to live a full, long life and someone else lives only a few weeks?
