Books About The Show - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I was recently browsing Amazon, and I noticed there are a lot of books about The Brady Bunch. I have read one of them, Growing Up Brady, which was very fun and insightful. Would you guys recommend any of the other books as must-reads or definitive (or on the other hand not very good)?

I have a small collection of Brady Bunch books, and these include the original paperback novles too that had some fun stories in them, but wern't all that close to the show.

The Brady Bunch In:

Adventure on the high seas
The Treasure of Mystery Island
The New York Mystery
Count Up To Blast Down
The Brady Bunch (Their first ever self titled novel)

I also have two great referance books that I highly recommend:

The Brady Bunch Book

&

Bradymania! Everything you always wanted to know-and a few things you didn't

Both of these books are fun, and have some great rare pictures in them

Brady Bunch novels? Sounds like some possible Pulitzer candidates. I've got some Partridge Family adventure books myself.

I read Growing Up Brady and Bradymania. These were good. Probably the first two of the Brady revival era.

I got that one as well. I think I only spent 4 dollars on it at a used book store. It's in great condition to for being 36 years old.

I would recommend "Bradymania!" by Elizabeth Moran.

It's a fun book...starts out by giving a "dossier" of each family member, summarizing such things as their educational backgrounds, hobbies, employment histories (e.g. Jan worked as a 'scooper' at Haskell's Ice Cream Hut)...

It also has an episode guide with a synopsis of each episode, along with original air dates...

It also contains profiles of the actors who played the Bradys, and the actors list favorite memories of the show...

There's also triva on the Brady house, a section on the history of the show (along with info on original cast ideas...but no, they don't say who the blonde boys or brunette girls were who MIGHT have been cast if the parents had different hair colors)...

There's a 100 question trivia quiz, as well as a couple of quizzes with 'matching' questions.

It also covers Brady collectibles, and has info on all of the TV Movies and other shows the Bradys did.

There's a small photo section with about 25 'behind the scenes photos'..

It's a fun book!
