Need Advice...Please!

I have this friend who I am having some major problems with. No matter what I do and say I just end up hurting her. Half the time I don't even know I am hurting her because she is hurt by things that would not hurt other people. Like if I tell people something about myself or anything in general, if I didn't tell her first, she will be hurt. And she always plays these little games when I ask her what is wrong. She will never just come out and just tell me what is bothering her. I almost have to beg her to tell me. Right now I am feeling sick with guilt and frustration and I just don't know what to do anymore. Can someone please, PLEASE give me advice?

Well Mike, it sounds to me like you will just never win. If you're trying to be nice by offering your support and she still doesn't want to take it, maybe she just needs to be left alone. I hate ending friendships so I know it's difficult but maybe if you gave her some time to straighten out her problems, she'll realize what she's done and apologize. It sounds to me like you're just trying to be a good friend.

I was gonna say the same thing.

Rule #1 that I've learned tho...you can't force people to talk. And their not talking is usually not a reflection of you...they just don't feel like talking. Don't take it personally.
