Some Facts About Water
Ninety-seven percent of the world's water is salty or otherwise undrinkable.
3% is fresh, but 2% is frozen in the polar ice caps. That leaves just 1% for consumption by all living creatures, including plants and animals! A dairy cow needs to drink four gallons of water to produce one gallon of milk. Water is the only substance found on earth naturally in three forms: solid (ice), liquid (water), and gas (water vapor). |
