Are the episodes on the season 3 DVD uncut? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I've never purchased the DVDs so far because of the edits. Is it different this time or is that too much to hope for?

All the episodes and sets from Lionsgate on ALF are edited for syndication.

Too much to hope for. (for religious paralells see Pontius Pilate). All the ALF season dvd sets are the syndicated or foriegn versions. For various copyright and financial reasons, these episodes are edited. Uncut episodes aired on NBC 86-90 and in American Syndication till 94. These episodes will probably feature the music or lines with references to acutal people, events or music, in them. They can be found via ebay or by writing local stations that used to air ALF.
