Post What was the worst day you ever had?

Have you ever just had a bad day? Where everything that could go wrong went wrong? Post it!

Here's the only one I can think of (although I know I've had worse), it was several years ago: In the car on the way to school one of the tires went flat and my mom had to turn around and go straight home and I had to walk the rest of the way. (and my school isn't that close) I was late to 1st period, then in second period my favorite teacher had a sub (not that big a deal but oh, well), then at lunch my salad which had tons of Ranch dressing on it spilled all over me, then in 4th period Madrigals (that's my school's 20 person a capella choir) my choir teacher started going off on me when it was really the girl next to me. When I pointed out who it was she said she didn't believe me. I asked her to test each one of us to see who it was that was going flat, she wouldn't and to this day she thinks I was just trying to put the blame on someone else, then in 6th period history my group had a presentation to do and I was the only one who showed up so I could only present my part of the project. My teacher was nice about it and gave me a good grade but I was still mad, then when I got home my cat had pulled a ligament and was meowing really loudly (it sounded more like screaming) and we had to get up early the next morning to take her to the vet. I think more happened that day, but I've blocked it out.....so tell me your worst day!

Back when I was a whimpy little kid I was camping with my Boy Scout troop. They made us hike mile to try to teach us something about compases but I only learned pain. I was so out of shape and the hike went on for hours.

I imagine I'm strong enough to take on that hike now but the memories won't help.

Oh and sue z q... Thanks for bringing me back to such a painful time in my life.

Two or three months ago my dad had to go to the hospital. I hate hospitals and had to wait countless hours just to go home. Each second was torcher.

I had a really bad day last spring. I had PMS at the time, which never helps things. Everything annoyed me. Nothing went well at school, and the day seemed to drag on forever. Then there was that time that I had to dress up as a candle for a school play....that was pretty bad!

Ok this is very embarrassing but I used to go to this Sunday school and it would be out in the country that was before we switched churches and they had an out house and I had to go but one of the kids got up and said I need to go them another one got up and asked to go then another one did and it was one right after another and the teacher was praying at the time and he was like ok no one else gets to go for the rest of the day and we had an hour left and I was sitting there trying to hold it in but all of a sudden I couldn't hold it in any longer and I went right there in class in front of everyone. What was worse was that my assigned seat was in the front row. It was so embarrassing I felt like I was going to die.

This is from about 2 months ago, so some of my things may not be straight...

Okay, it was gonna be a great day, I had my Wheaties, I was doing a demonstration in choir, I had a piece-of-quiche test in science, we were playing softball in band, and we were watching an "educational film" in Social Studies... that meant 45 minutes to sleep. Gifted was over, but who cares? Next year, Mrs. Gray is taking us to state, then nationals! Little did I know my life would be turned upside down that week...

Before the bell rang at breakfast, I went inside to put my notebook and purse in my locker so I could play basketball, or maybe go into the library, I'm not sure. I got in there, and Mr. Davis, the counselor, was talking to Mrs. Riggs. (Ugh...) He looked at me very sternly and said, "Did you give Mrs. Treat (gifted teacher) the papers for the trip yesterday?" I had forgotten (I forget a lot) and slowly shook my head. "Danni, those were the permission slips for the trip tomorrow! Now they won't be able to go on the trip because of you!"
"Look, I'm sorry, Mr. Davis," I said, scared, because I had never gotten in trouble before, except for spreading rumors about a bomb threat in 4th grade (There was gonna be one, they said it at a teacher's meeting! I'm not gonna do it, or anything!), "but I didn't know what was in them, and you should have given them to me later in the day so I wouldn't forget,"
"I shouldn't have given them to you at all!"
"Look, I'm sorry, Mr. Davis," I said, and walked to my locker, which was unfortunately about 2 feet away from where he was standing, almost right next to him. (Kenzie's was right next to him! ) I threw my stuff in, grabbed the envelope that the papers were in, and went off to the library. On the way out there, I saw Mrs. Treat there, and I was suprised, because she had a class at the high school in 1st hour. It turned out that she came over to get the papers, and in doing that, prevented any blemishes from appearing on my future application to Harvard. Then the bell rang, and I had to go inside for 1st hour Honors Math.

Before the tardy bell rang, Kenzie was playing with her little red squishy thingy, and it burst all over her shirt and pants, so I went with her to the office. But hey, I thought, I get to miss some of first hour waiting with K for a change of clothes. When I got back, it turned out I had missed an explanation of something I couldn't hope to understand without Mrs. Bray's help, so I was lost for that lesson.

Second hour Honors Reading is awful in its self, so it's bad every day, unless we get Communication Hour (thought up by Tifferz) or we watch Last Minute Book Reports.

Third hour English, things were better, because that's my favorite class. But Mrs. Webb, my favorite teacher, got mad at me for talking to Stumpy and Sylvia too much, so she moved me next to Brock (lol, K!). She never gets mad at me, or anyone else in the class, because she even told us we were her favorite class, but she was mad that day! (Must have been PMS...)

At lunch, I had to come in for Mr. Cullum for chewing gum (at least it wasn't after school!) so I didn't get a baked potato for chef salad. I just grabbed my trumpet and headed to the band room. (Well, I went as well as I could, because my mouthpiece was stuck in the tube. That always seems to happen before a concert!) When I got in there, and Stumpy and Kenzie showed up, Mrs. G ran us out for some strange reason. So I spent lunch hour playing basketball.

In 4th hour Science, I got my trumpet and headed to Mrs. Walter's choir room to demonstrate my trumpet, and our band music we were gonna play at Magic Springs. That went pretty well, until I was carrying Aja's xylaphone back to the bandroom, and Mr. Davis glared at me again when he was coming out of his office. He asked us what we were doing, and I'm thinking, Oh, yeah, we're skipping class to steal a sucky substitute for Aja's marimba which we couldn't fit through the doors of the school and we're taking it 20 miles to Siglers and selling it for all it's worth, buying a Camaro, and heading down I-40 all the way to California, of course it's for band, you idiot! but I didn't say that, of course. I just quietly carried the xylaphone back to the band room, after knocking a few keys off and dropping it on my toe once or twice. I headed back to science, took the test, and made a 100, of course, but that was the only good thing that happened that day.

In 5th hour Band, we couldn't play softball, because of the 8th or 9th grade football team was practicing, not sure which team, and we just had to walk track. Of course, that was the day that Modest Intentions came about, and the sequel to it, also. Little did I know that the same track I was walking on would be where I was when Coach Treat delivered news to Mrs. G that would change my academic career forever... Oh, did I mention I got blisters on my feet from running a mile without shoes???

6th hour Athletics we had a 3-on-3 tournament going, my team was the last one to play, and I was pushed down and knocked my shoulder out of socket, so we had to finish the game the next day.

7th hour, Mr. Cullum stopped the tape because of Dorkus Calvin, and I don't know what else happened that day, I was too out of it to notice.

Y'all, I'm so scared my computer's gonna lock up that I'm going to put the next day (and the last day) in another post, ko? kk.

Sad

My worst day? I lost my expensive calculator (y'know those TI-82s'? They're too expensive for seventh graders; everyone loses 'em some time during a year!), accidentally forgot to mention to my English teacher that I taped over some movie we had to watch that I volunteered to bring in and so we spent an English period practically doing nothing, and then to top it all, I was in science class and completely forgot we had homework due. It turned out I found my calculator since my best friend was borrowing it (and she never told me!), but the whole rest of the day was not that great. Ughh.

Too many to count that I've pushed so far back in my mind that I really don't care to remember them!

My worst day, Well about 13 years ago, I had jaw surgery. See, my bite was off (that'll teach me to go around biting people) and that affected how i looked and ate and other stuff. So I had to have it fixed.

I had to check into Ellis Hospital, in Schenectady, NY, A day early so they could
run tests and everything and so I could get used to the atmosphere a little, so I wouldn't be so scared.
(I hate hospitals too)

Well my parents left to get something to eat
and they said they'd be right back. But, I was still freaked out by now. They brought me back Burger King, that helped a little, I wasn't about to eat hospital food as my last meal. Family and friends kept dropping by to reassure me and stuff but it wasn't not helping. I was a complete basketcase by 9pm.
The nurse came in to give me a pill, that didn't do anything, She had to give me another one at 1am.. That was the one that worked. But I'm thinking, why didn't you just give me two pills at 9pm. I finally went to sleep. That was I think the worse day of my life.
