Things I've Noticed About TeeVee - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Hey kids, TJL here.

As some of you know, I've been sick for the past week. Since I've had nothing to do but watch 16 hours of TV a day for the past six days, I've noticed a few things about TV that have caught my attention and would like to share with you.

The new Sprite ads with that whole "sublimonal" advertizing shtick- kinda annoying. I've been kown to enjoy a Sprite on occasion, but the bizarre jump cuts and strange use of Asian women in those commercials only makes me want to reach for a Ginger Ale.

Superman Returns is opening Friday June 30th. I have seen every one of the 298 versions of the trailer during every commercial break, and I'm pretty sure it opens June 30th. You know what, I'm probably not going to see it now. Screw you Superman. i hope Lex Luthor wins. Kate Bosworth was a lousy choice for Lois Lane anyway.

That infomercial Richard Karns does about that folding ladder is stangely hypnotic. Plus, the ladder seems to be one heck of a fine product.

There was a time not to long ago when TLC didn't have Trading Spaces on 24 hours a day. I wish I could go back to that time.

Mr. Rogers, despite being dead, still commands my attention.

No amount of medication will ever convince me that "Three's Company" was a good show. Sorry. And please, don't even think about quoting this part of the post and providing me with a rebuttal. This is my drug induced rant, therefore I'm the Master of this Dojo. Just let it go TC fans. We're moving on...

Billy Blanks, the Ty-Bo guy. He frightens me.

There is nothing on QVC that I would ever want to buy. Although the segment featuring Wolfgang Puck's latest cookware was quiet enough to let me get in a good nap.

that one sprite ad with the eye that opens and it's a mouth....omg....that is SO disturbing. If I liked 7up, I'd switch.
