Default No more Interruptions while using the Web because of this BEAUTIFUL FEATURE

Since I use dial up and have my phone and web on the same phone line, i now have a great feature. When some is calling the service askes me first-"YOU HAVE A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER DO YOU WANT TO TAKE IT OR IGNORE IT?

Damm how great is that?-lol I used to get so sick of replying to someone on SitcomsOnline and then the phone rings and I'm disconnected. Those Days are over!!

Get DSL or Cable and you could talk on the phone and be on the computer at the same time.

I think it's rude for me to be on the web if i'm also on the phone. I just hung up on a girl last night for logging on to the Internet while she was talking to me

It's not rude, I do it all the time. Now it may be hard for you to pay attention and hold a conversation with someone . And plus you don't have to miss any calls, especially if there's a emergancy or something

Go Broadband. You'll have a connection that's always on and will free up your phone lines.

I think that being on the phone and internet at the same times is a great idea. TVResearcher, would you rather be stuck in an emergency, trying to call someone and not getting through because they can't answer the phone because they're on the internet with the phone line blocked? Or would you rather call them and have them pick up because even though they're on the internet, their phone line is not blocked?

I use Call Wave. It is an answering machine and has a take the call button. It also has caller ID. It's great! I never miss any calls now. If I take the call I am automatically kicked off line. But that's no big deal. It's kind of pricey. Call Wave with caller ID costs me about 10 dollars a month. It is charged to my regular phone bill.

Dialup sucks. Ask the man who used to have it.

I got rid of dial-up at least two years ago, I couldn't take it.

I got rid of it 3 1/2 years ago and I still wonder today why it didn't dump it sooner. Cable Internet is just so freaking awesome! I have absolutely no reason to leave the house.

We still have dialup because my mother doesn't want to pay extra for DSL........... They will charge her an extra 10.00 for every month, making the internet bill about 36.00.
