The Boy in the Plastic Bubble

This 70's movie starred John Travolta as a boy who was confined to a quarantined area due to a sickness which lowered his immunities. Robert Reed played the father of the boy.

The interesting thing is that John Travolta went on to have a relationship with the actress who played his mother in the film, a woman roughly 20 years older than Travolta. I wonder if he felt compassion due to Reed's lack of interest. That's the impression I got from watching the movie.

Personally, I think Travolta was crazy. I would have gone after Glynnis O'Connor, who played his girlfriend. She was really hot in that film.
