ABC's long-in-the-works, six-hour 9/11 miniseries will air over two nights, with its conclusion airing on the fifth anniversary of the terrorist attacks.
Part one of "The Path to 9/11" will air Sunday, Sept. 10, from 8-11 p.m.; the concluding three hours will air in the same slot on Monday, Sept. 11. Mini-series stars Harvey Keitel, Donnie Wahlberg and Patricia Heaton. ABC's project is the last of several high-profile 9/11 TV and movie projects that were put into development around the same time. A&E aired its "Flight 93" in January, while U released feature "United 93" this spring. Oliver Stone's theatrical "World Trade Center" will be released in August. More information on the min-series itself will be coming. This will be BIG. |

I think there are more documentaries and movies on 9/11 than Gilligan now.
Don't take that the wrong way I am just saying there are hundreds upon thousands of documentaries about 9/11. |

What do you think about the release date of Oliver Stone's movie? My friend and I were discussing this, and he kinda thought it should be closer to (if not actually on) 9/11. My argument is that a lot of people would be doing other types of rememberances on 9/11 and wouldn't go to the movie....releasing it early builds it up maybe?
