Default Season 1

Hi i emailed Anchor Bay inquiring about Season 1 being released uncut, and this is the response i got back.

No, it should be listed- we are not re-releasing it.

~Rose

I then emailed her back saying this:
Thank you for your speedy reply. So there is no hope of seeing Roseanne Season 1 Uncut ever again, I'm guessing

I got the reciept saying she had read my message, but she never replyed back. Here is the email adress for her Rose.Zivkovich@anchorbayent.com. I think others should email her asking if ther is any hope of ever seeing it uncut, since she wouldn't reply back to me. Please post all your replys here.

Default My Response

I, too, E-mailed Ms. Zivkovich,

What I sent:

Dear Ms. Zivkovich,

I will keep my babbleing to a minimum as I am aware your time is very
valuable. Will "Roseanne: Season One" be released unedited/uncut in
its original format at anytime in the future?

Thank you so very much.

Take care,
Patrick

She replied with:

No, I'm sorry, it will not be released uncut.

~Rose

I think our next step should be to email Carsey Werner.

Default I Think I said This Before

Anchor Bay is not to blame. Its Carsey Werner. Here are the two addresses that i know of.

BPostmus@carseywerner.com

jobs@carseywerner.com

I say they rerelease the whole series when they are done with season nine with a funny trivia game, more commentaries, Season 1 uncut, hidden footage, maybe a game and/ or photo album, more interview, or bonus interview with like ara gilbert and johnny galecki or an identical beckies interview or whatever. Maybe tributes to Shelly Winters and Glenn Quinn. Something like that. Get as many people as you can to take part in this. Maybe the Real Roseanne Show and Larry King Live reunions who knows. And they can cover up their mistakes with the typos.

I doubt they will rerelease the whole series, season 1 is already pushin' it a bit.

They don't care about the diehard Roseanne fans that will care about 30 seconds an episode for 1 season, the average Roseanne fan won't buy the whole season again just for some more extras, I don't even know if I would, they're expensive.

But it'd be nice to see, just not a smart business move.

I think Roseanne Fans should just do what the Cosby show fans did and just move on and be thankful the rest of the seasons are UNCUT. There is no way an entire season is going to be re-released

excuse me but we spent money on crap......this is unfair. why settle for a crappy dvd release and just excuse Carsey Werner for releasing the rest uncut. thats just stupid they should both be ereleased and they may rerelease the whole series of Roseanne because of new technology advances. Ive emailed carsey werner before and the said something about superdisks and that roseanne was possibly added to the catalogue. Now would they use a superdisk for season 1 or a whole series.

But if they do that they may not make an money because we are the only ones who care about the deleted scenes. So even if they have UNCUT on the front it still may not make that much money.

And I'm pretty sure neither is being distributed by Marcy Carsey and Tom Werner for dvd, it's going through somewhere else. But do correct me if I'm wrong.

I would be totally shocked if they re-released season 1

I just thought of something. It would be cool if they released Season 1 uncut, for the 20th aniversery of Roseanne's Premier.
