Default America's Got Talent

Did anyone else watch? I really liked it, much better than I expected, and it did extremely well in the ratings.

At 9 p.m., the first hour of "America's Got Talent" did a 7.3/13 for NBC. FOX's "So You Think You Can Dance" was second with a solid 6.2/10. CBS' "Criminal Minds" did a 5.5/11, far ahead of an anemic "Lost" repeat on ABC. The WB's "One Tree Hill" was fifth, beating the 0.6/1 for UPN's documentary, which averaged an impressively low 714,000 viewers for its running time.

In its second hour, the "America's Got Talent" premiere had an 8.0/14 for NBC. CBS' "CSI: NY" had a 6.6/11 for second, leaving ABC's "Lost" repeat way back in third.

this is one of the stupidest shows i have ever seen. honestly, how are these people suppose to be the next elvis or marilyn monroe? they have talents, but that doesn't mean they're talented and worthy of a million dollars. being able to juggle isn't that fascinating! how do they even compare singing to male stripping? horrible show.

The million dollar cash prize is the only thing I really don't like about it. That said, The Hoff rules, baby!

It's one of those shows that has such silly things, it is actually entertaining. I don't know what these acts plan to do though. I mean, how far can a guy go with horns attached to his body or a finger snapper.

I think this has got to be the cheeseist show ever, but it is still entertaning. Some of the "Talent" is so weird. Like balanceing/holding up a lawn mower on your face. Where do they find these people? lol This show never seises to suprise me.

I haven't seen it but it sounds like it would be entertaining to see a variety of wierd talents. All the singing shows are getting boring and they need something different even though they aren't really very talented.
