The New York Knicks put Larry Brown out of his coaching misery Thursday, ending weeks of uncertainty by firing the Hall of Fame coach with four years and a reported $40 million left on his contract. President and general manager Isiah Thomas will replace Brown as coach.

The Knicks still have major problems. Thomas as coach is not good and they have overpaid players on the team.

Unless the Knicks make the playoffs - which they won't- I don't want ANYONE to start praising Isiah for leading to a better record.

Those "players" quit on Brown.

And Isiah is possibly the worst player turner coach/management ever.

I think he would have much rather have been the GM in Cleveland.

He can have the GM job in NY as far as I'm concerned.

Just fire Isiah. He's done nothing but harm since he retired from playing.

Just check his track record.

Thomas purchased the CBA in 1999. As a owner, He lost between 5 to 7 million and the CBA had to file bankruptcy.
