How long was it in your lives before you got a diagnosis? Did you get diagnosed when you were a child or when you were older in your teens or as an adult? Also, do you think gender plays a role as far as getting a diagnosis quicker? Like for girls do you feel if you had been a boy you might have been diagnosed quicker and if you are a guy, do you think you might not have been diagnosed as quickly if your gender had been different? I'm just asking because I'm curious and have also been slightly discalculic for all my life and have never been formally diagnosed as discalculic. Anyone else have this experience of not being diagnosed until later in life?
