Conveniently, Halloween seems to be the release day that THE ADDAMS FAMILY's first DVD will be issued.

Nothing's official yet. Some GET SMART style authorization rights distributions are currently taking place between MGM and Fox.

No...Sony gave up on MGM titles...so Fox picked it up.

Does that mean that they will also get rights to seasons four through six of GREEN ACRES? Maybe we can get some decent extras, then.

But Fox is a crapshoot too when it comes to quality releases...

Possibly Fox will have that, too. Although I heard some returning titles Sony will sitll have. Not sure if GA is part of that.

Fox and MGM will bring us the first season of THE ADDAMS FAMILY on October 24th, with extras.

The Addams Family will be released in three volumes, and they will be on double-sided discs. That may keep me from buying the sets. I really despise double-sided discs. http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/newsitem.cfm?NewsID=6259

That so sucks how there releasing this. No artwork on the disks which really disappoints me.
