Are there any updates on this case? Why didn't Internal Affairs or the Feds go after Ed Carter? It's mindboggling to me.
I guess that even if they arrested Ed Carter, the evidence was severely compromised and so it would be very difficult to convict him. I wonder also if the massage parlor used to be a church. The lettering and the name "New Life" bring me to this conclusion. |

There isn't any updates that I know of about this case. I think myself that Ed Carter did it. I don't know if that used to be a church or not, its hard to say.

It's safe to say that Ed Carter did it. He had both motive and a shaky alibi...but where he was a police officer, it would make him a harder subject to try, especially since the crime scene was heavily compromised. Sad case, really.
I think it's kind of hilarious that one expert says that he couldn't tell whether or not Ed Carter did or did not pass the lie detector case but turned around and said that shortly after taking said test, said suspect resigned from the Oak Grove Police Department and moved to another part of Kentucky. That tells me he (a) failed the lie detector test and (b) should be investigated further. It makes you ponder on the shaky state of the US justice system. |
