Arrow Sonic Burger

Ok, this has been bugging me FOREVER. I constantly see these Sonic Burger commercials on TV, and yet I've never seen one of those places before in my life. Now, I understand that there are many fast food chains that don't exist in New England where I live, but I've travelled around and still, nothing. I spent a semester in Los Angeles which has more fast food chains than I had ever dreamed of, and yet still no Sonic. Florida, no Sonic. Now until someone tells me otherwise, I will continue my belief that this is all a conspiracy and the place doesn't really exist.

First off, try just looking for Sonic, not Sonic Burger. Second, as for them in KY, well, there sure are a lot of 'em.

Sonic or Sonic Burger, I've never seen anything with Sonic in the title. Sounds like it might be more of a midwest thing. But I'd still like to hear more about where esle this place is.

They are all over Texas. But personally, I dont care for them. Sorry to offend anyone who does. The best thing they have are the Route 44 drinks and the flurries. I think their food leaves a lot to be desired though. (Again, only my opinion)

I know they have them in Tennessee and Alabama. They don't have the best tasting food in the world though, so don't feel as if you're deprived...

They are definitely in KY and I think I've seen them in Ohio where I go to college at. Most of my family lives in the St. Louis area and I think they have them there. I haven't eaten there for awhile, but the food is ok. Not real great, but Hardee's is worse.

We have 'em here in Oklahoma. Actually, I think that those were the very first fast food chains started around here. *I could be mistaken though* Kinda like Wal*Mart was started in Arkansas (which is right across the border from us. Actually you wanna go visit another state, you jut rive for about 10 minutes and you're there.) D, I think your Blonder-Than-Usual stage has worn off on me cuzI'm rambling. Did I spell that right? Oh, and how are you coming on my ********? Just remember take yer time and... What was the question again? Okay, D, now I know that it's rubbed off on me. I just gonna go throw myself into the Arkansas River...

LeslieM, they are in Ohio, I have seen them too, down around that certain small liberal arts college you purport to frequent.

Sonic is a Texas thing mostly, I think they are headquartered there. They are mostly in the southern middle of the United States, but are developing markets all over.

Here is a fascinating map where you can see for yourself where they are at. http://www.sonicdrivein.com/map.htm

Man am I nerd for looking that up or what? Oh well, I came to terms with my nerdiness years ago.

I must admit, I rather liked the idea of a conspiracy theory though.

Thanks for the map. Now I know why I've never seen one. They definitely haven't made their way up to my little cluster of states in the northeast. Though I'm surprised I've never come across the one in Orlando. Oh well. They really do exist! You'd think they wouldn't do those ads around here since I'd have to drive like 500 miles to get to one.

That's just it...see, they WANT you to drive the 500 miles.

Ah, think you've found me out don't you? There's no sonics where I go to school at, maybe the next town over. Ohio has a lot of small liberal arts college, especially depending on what you consider southeastern Ohio. Keep trying!!
