Can someone name this old sitcom? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Please forgive me if this is not the right forum.

I remember an old sitcom from either the 80's or the early 90's. It took place at a recording studio, I think in New York City. I seem to recall an apple being in the name but I was fairly young when I saw it so I can't really remember. I remember in one episode some young boys sang an R&B number. Does anybody know the name of this sitcom? I also remembered they all came to work on a big freight elevator and the name of the recording studio was in the door of the elevator.
