I can recall going to a couple weddings in the 70's; one bride had the traditional pastel colors and the other bride had ALL colors......each bridesmaid had on a different color, and the groomsmen alternated with black and gray tux.

I was thinking the same thing when I checked Season 6 out of the library and watched the wedding.
Show this episode to any wedding planner working today and they'd probably burst into tears.

And how did she plan the whole thing in a week? Tell that to any wedding planner as well.

I just find it so hard to believe, especially abt the dresses and the cake. Cake makers (bakeries) require at least a month in advance (the ones that I know of) to place orders for wedding cakes. Brides maid dresses, unless taken off the rack and fit perfectly, need to be fitted and tailored.

When I was a bridesmaid in my sister's wedding, I had to go to the bridal shop three times for alterations!!
So I tend to think that the ladies bought their dresses off the rack, because none of them matched anyway. Sweet Daddy and his goons may have had their ways of getting things (flowers, cake, etc.) in a hurry...if you catch my drift.
