Do I have his name right? He is the elderly guy who kind of looks like Santa Clause whose wife roamed the country looking for him. I guess he had a head injury and his wife felt he had amnesia. They just showed the segment today.
As I was watching the segment, I kept thinking in my head, Please update this case, please update it! Sure enough, they did, but it was a half-arsed update. Stack said that Unsolved Mysteries recently filmed a reunion of Craig Williamsen and his wife and that they'd give us more details on a future episode. Does anyone know if they ever aired the reunion of this guy and his wife? Are there any other details on the outcome of this case? I did a board search and couldn't find a thread on it. |

I think they did. I remember watching it. Unfortunately Craig had no recollection at all of his life before the head injury, no matter how hard his wife tried to guide his memory (she even took him places that were significant to them to try to trigger a memory, but got nothing.) He was a completely different person. They remain friends and in touch, but it's not the same.

^ Yeah basically what PIP says with the addition that the wife said that "She'd do it all over again if she had to" (in regards to searching for Craig) - They did end up seperating like PIP mentioned. Very sad case.

This is another one where I went "WTF with the "update", Lifetime". I saw a different update before where it showed the reunion and Craig didn't remember her and didn't come back to her. I felt bad for both of them. I didn't remember that they told us that he was beaten and robbed though in the more 'up to date' update. I had just assumed it had to do with his concussion.

This case was a real bummer.
Like PIP said.. he had no clue who she was, and a head injury can be so devastating. On a brighter totally different note... I really liked their business idea, that seemed so neat to me. |

That's really sad to hear. They sounded like they were close, and it would be devastating to lose someone twice, once without knowing, and the second knowing that they remember nothing.
Damned robbers. That's a terrible case.
