How many Guys HATE going on Dates? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I hate going on a date like I hate Monday Mornings, it makes me want to throw up completely. The male gets nothing out of the date, it's all about her and her likes and dislikes and the whole sitting in a restatrunt trying to think of something to say and let;s forget guys, FOOTING the BIll. It's just a lot easier for me to invite someone to my place and order some fried seafood and watch a good movie-lol Any other guy get nasueous at the thought of being on a DATE

Well any date I've ever been on, it's never "all" about the girl. I was always under the impression that most people go on dates where the feeling is mutual and so she wants to know all about you too, just like you do about her.

And yes, the guy pays, but hey...if you ask a girl out, then it's obviously because you want to, so why be so complainy about it?

Not all dates are like that, depends on who you are going with. I don't mind listening to my date about herself, as long as she lets me get a word or two in about myself.

I don't really like amusement parks much. I used to like them when I was younger, but now I'd rather read a book or watch Frasier than go to an amusement park. Frasier is more amusing to me - that show is great.

I'd go to an amusement park if this really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really special person that I know went to one and invited me along - but I'd follow that person to the ends of the earth.

Dating isn't so bad...
You get to try out your "A" material on someone new, maybe go to a place you've never been before, practice your table manners.

It's getting to the second date that sucks.

Think of something fun to do and maybe it wouldn't be so bad. Go to a movie and then bowling then out for ice cream or something. Atleast you don't have to talk that much if you do those to things and it doesn't cost a lot

Do something outside the house and away from the couch and TV.

You'll never get a girlfriend by sitting home eating fried foods and watching movies, Then you would really be forced to make conversation. And plus that would probaby bore a lot of women to tears.
