Default Was Janet on DRUGS???-LOL

Remember the ep when Lamont didn't want to tell Fred anything about Janet and then Fred meets Janet at the house. Then Fred and Esther goes to Janet's House to get some info and Fred has a Hair piece on. So after meeting Fred already Janet couldn't recognize Fred when he had the Hairpiece on in her APT?-LOL Was she that STUPID?

LOL. It's all part of the sitcom world. We have to suspend disbelief.

Yes, she should have recognized Fred.

Did Lamont end up marrying Janet?

I think Lamont had issues in regards to being on his own and leaving his father. Like some men are Mommy's boys, Lamont was a Daddy's boy.

That was a co-dependent relationship between Fred and Lamont. That was the first and given that it was the 70s where those issues was not addressed like they are now.

If I recall, Janet was only PRETENDING not to recognize Fred. She knew exactly who he was, but Lamont wanted Fred and her to get to know each other without him around so he told her to pretend she didn't recognize Fred when he showed up.

No that's not true, Janet and Lamont broke up because her ex-husband showed up and she realized she was still in love with him. I think the episode was called "When John comes marching home."
