he was the most annoying person on any TV Show ever he was even more annoying than the whole stupid "Dynomite" Phrase which is very hard to beat

He was the classic example of the persistent and COOL Hustler...

He even carried his own little whisk broom to brush himself off with, when it came down to those putdowns that were aimed at him.

I always HOWL every time he went up to a lady and opened his coat as if he was going to flash her. Instead, he would show them the things he'd managed to smuggle in it. The look on the lady's face would always be priceless!!

We were just talking about Sanford & Son and Good Times today at work, where we discussed how terrific characters like Lenaaaaay and Ned the Wino really were.

I wonder whatever happened to Dap Sugar Willie. He really made Lenny a riot to watch!

I noticed Sweet Daddy's bodyguards also had brooms that they would brush his suit with. I think that was when Thelma or Florida insulted him. (That was in "Florida's Homecoming, Part 4"). I think the gag was funnier when Lennnaaay did it.
