Default Characters that you WISHED had their own spinoffs...

...but never did. I can think of a few that should've gotten spinoffs.

1. The Lorenzos from All in the Family

2. Ted Baxter from MTM

Default I would have liked to have seen

a few of my spinoff ideas

DYN-O-MITE starring JIMMIE " JJ" WALKER as JJ moves to NYC to try to make it on his own!

ISSAC YOUR BARTENDER starring Issac from THE LOVE BOAT as he moves off the boat and into a new family!

HAWKEYE a Dramedy (sort of like TRAPPER JOHN but with more humor) about hawkeye after the war

THE MERTZES, they wanted to do a spinoff, the cast said no, it could have been good!

I would've liked to see a Full House spin-off...perhaps Jesse and Becky or maybe even DJ off at college?

I think DJ going off to college would probably have made the better spinoff

most all of these spinoffs most likely would have been flops

track records show that supporting characters just dont cut the mustard when they get their own show

most spinoffs fail

Ginger and the Howells- After The Rescue, the Howells find out that after all those years stranded, their conniving relatives and employees have indeed made them broker than broke. Thurston despairs until Lovey sees a Society column about Ginger's revived movie career in 'rescue pictures'- and Lovey has the idea of Thurston using his cunning and wheeling dealing skills to become Ginger's AGENT!

The first one I though of. For that matter I think a spinoff of Frank and Edna (also played by Betty Garrett) would have worked well. When Laverne moved to Hollywood her parents could have stayed back in Milwaukee, and bumped minor characters into the new supporting cast. Not only would that have satisfied people upset about the move to California, but having Frank move to California was always such a forced plot point.

Kimmy Gibbler from Full House. Relocating to Philadelphia, she moves to an apartment and annoys her roommate constantly.
