TVLAND LAST MINUTES CHANGES

Tvland made change effective today June 12th now Night Court only air at 130pm eastern 1230 central. I wont be able to watch during the day becasue I work during the day the only day I can watch it Friday after 11am.

So Im through with tvland enough is enough becasue they change their mind sooo many times. I hope that Night Court will air another network in the evening time slot & leave it alone in the future. I only have two more epsoide I havent taped yet. Hopefully dvd will release in the future. I will stop by this message board.

Now offiical TBS and Lifetime viewers. No longer tvland viewer anymore I just has enough is enough.

The one tvland hasnt aired it becasue of preempt

1) is on 8th season that Christine was upset about her divorce
2) on 9th season About Chrstines was writing children book and Harry learn how to become a professor for law student.

I dont know if tvland will have the ordered this month beasue of tvland changes for 8th & 9th season. I dont know if Tv guide online will have that in ordered I bet they are fed up with tvland too.

I wish TBS would take over N.C. eveing timeslot I hope so in the future.

Geez a loo, it seems that even in syndication "Night Court" doesn't get any respect! I think Oprah needs to reunite this cast. Maybe then the show and cast would be appreciated.

As long as Oprah is not on tvland network. Night Court is not alone having trouble with tvland they just keep on changing all the time tvland viewers left becasue they just fed up with tvland as they just simply wont leave the schedule alone they keep changing it every other 2 or 3 week so viewers was fed up and left never came back.

I would'nt be surprise if newspaper tv section or tv guide online wont change it they knew tvland change their mind every 2 to 3 weeks they are saying OH GREAT here we go again I bet you they are not going to touch it this time that my predications for tvland going down the tube.

I dont know about their sister station Nick at Nite on how they are doing.

Once again Nightcourt gets the shaft!!

What is Tvland thinking? They stink. Nightcourt rocks!! And what is with them sneaking in more and more commercials now? I wish Warner Brothers would get on the stick and just release Nightcourt on dvd in season sets. I mean does Tvland really think 227 will be more popular than Nightcourt? I am betting 227 is cheaper. I am just glad I have dvds of my favorite shows now and will no longer be a Tvland viewer. Anybody else upset?

According to sitcom message news Night Court just simply going on Hitatus mean they are taking a vacation becasue tvland does not have enough room to put on their lines up in July & possbile in August which they are taking too much spaces like Sanford & Son Good Times all the show they are showing that are on twice or 3 time a day plus marathon at midnight til 4am. N.C has few more years contract left with tvland. N.C will be back soon in 3 to 4 week (tvland has bad habit change their mind alot) or in September.

I was gonna say... I thought they had a contract for some years with the show. I forgot about that when I posted last...

They can make room. They can take off some of those godawful repeats such as Bonanza and Gunsmoke (they get a marathon every weekend) and during the week, they load us up on Good Times and Sanford and Son.

Amen to that post GSU2004! I think someone here hit the nail on the head though. I think that it has to be cheaper to air some of the other shows over and over again. "Night Court" has to be a little expensive because it is not as old as some of the other programs. I am sick of seeing the same marathons over and over again. Additionally, can't they give "Night Court" a better time slot. I mean...come on. Do they really want to get rid of it by putting it on in times where virtually no one can see it. Give me a break TV Land.

Cheaper has nothing to do with it, because they already bought each show they are airing. Ratings is the issue. The westerns do VERY well for them.

Thanks, but to concur with what was said also, the syndication rights have been paid for. They have contracts for these things on how long they get to air them and times they are allowed to air them. I know with the case of the UPN shows hitting syndication this fall, the shows that are still in production cannot be aired during the week, they can only be aired on the weekends.

I do concur with you about seeing the same marathons over and over again, especially Good Times because when TVLand does it, TVOne has one the following weekend. TVLand is going to rerun the What's Happening marathon again in August for the 30th anniversary which is fine to celebrate a milestone but they always air the What's Happening Now episodes in the middle of the night so people can't see them. For each marathon, the same episodes are aired of Whats Happening Now.

Night Court probably would have did better on Nick at Nite as they air more 80's and 90's programming. I think the addition of NewsRadio and Mad About You were mistakes.
