I dunno our school system, sice i was in the 3rd grade, decided kindergarden up must take friegn language, that 5 years and i still barly speak french.. I dont think there is an easy way.

------------------
On April 24, 2008 Kaley and I are going too meet in LA, and hancuff ourselfs too Nancy McKeons car, or better yet her! And your not! Were also gonna find Jay Harrington too.

Teddy: Be honest with me, not my parents!
Jinny: All right, fine. You want honesty? Why don't you let me tell you a little bit about my family? See, I never really had a birthday party unless you wanna count my 15th, when my father showed up for cake, plastered in his underwear! Oh, yeah, by the way, my mom couldn't make it that year either because, well, sadly, six months earlier she blew her brains out!!!!!
Teddy: Jinny, my God.
Jinny: As for my brother, uh yeah, John... see, he just doesn't like you unless your American, white, and straight! and for me, a few weeks ago when I had that nut case after me... yeah, I had to make a little list, of all the guys that I've slept with in the last two years. I couldn't remember some of their names.
Teddy:Stop! What are you...
Jinny: Ya know what? This is who I am, THIS IS MY FAMILY!!!! Come on, it's your turn. You go ahead, flash that all-American, prep school, choir boy smile and you tell me that it doesn't matter! *long pause* Yeah... Thats what I thought.

~DANA JINNY EXSTEAD ~

The Dana parts Real... The rest i stuck in there for fun.

The easiest way to learn a language is, first off, learn a language you WANT to learn, a language that interests you, if that is at all possible.

Beyond that, it is hard to give advice. Language has always come very very easily to me. My middle school didn't teach language, so my first french lesson didn't come until I was a freshman in high school. After six months I was speaking it better than kids who had been taking it for 3 years.

Unfortunately, it seems to me, from my observations, that some people really get it, and some people just don't. (kinda like organic chemistry, which I totally don't get!

I do find, that for me at least, writing vocab words over and over again, repeating the pronunication in your head as you do so, and thinking about the definition is a good way to learn vocab. Same thing for verb conjugations.

Teachers will be teachers....

And my only advice for you is to use index cards, that always work for me. write down vocabulary words you hear often on one side and on the other side of it write the difenition, and play a volcabulary game with yourself, you know, flip over the cards and read the definition, kind of like that matching game.

Tapes and CDs are how many Europeans- 66% of them are bilingual- learn languages when they are THREE. I'm still young and It's easyer to learn when you are young. I speak flueint German and English because I went to German kindergartn (When I was 3 to 4, they don't really teach you much in kindergarten, LOL). I know a little bit of French because they had a four day 4 hour course on it at my school every Wednesday (One ohur for four days) for us elementary students. Students from high school taught us.

IMO, Spanish is YUCK! Why don't they teach Manderin Chinese? That's the most spoken language! And French, I like but.....it's the 14th most spoken language.

At my middle school, they teach Japensese if you are a good at the current foreign lanuage (7th French/ 8th German).
