Default What is TVLand's Problem

They Recently had a "Gunsmoke And Bonanza"Marathon Did They Not. it most defenitly was not well planned why did they have to put those awful awful shows in the AITF Marathon why not "The Brady Bunch"Marathon it doesn't make any sense "All In The Family"is one of the most beloved and greatest Sitcom in Sitcom History along with TBB but Why??

Are you saying Gunsmoke isn't beloved? It ran 20 seasons. It was in the top 20 17 of those seasons. They announced a few weeks back about it being part of the marathon. Gunsmoke has great ratings on TV Land and Gunsmoke did great in sales on the Gunsmoke DVD. I am an All In the Family fan as well and both shows have big fan bases. It's not like TV Land is showing a marathon of Dr 90210, they are showing one of there highest rated shows along with All in the Family. It is an easy way to gain ratings.

Oh Ok, I see what you are saying. You wanted it to be a 48 Hour Marathon like the Brady Bunch and Benson.

well, I happen to LOVE westerns; and in fact "Gunsmoke" and "Bonnanza" are 2 of my favorites. And, I read that TV LAND plans to keep showing it for a LOOOONG time!!!

Also, I'm getting tired of "All in the Family" it's been on so many times.

Again, I like AITF but it has a decent afternoon spot. The Westerns are shown on the early afternoon during the week
