Thumbs down

Have yet to see Pearl Harbor...but I heard it was like Titantic in that it completely downplayed the seriousness of the actual event by focusing totally on a sappy love story. Titantic really sucked, so if Pearl Harbor really is anything like it, my vote is that neither are worth my time.

I was tempted to say "Pearl Harbor", until I did a little research and realized that the movie I was actually thinking of was "Midway"

I'll be honest and say that Titanic made me hate Leonardo DiCaprio until years later when I saw him in The Revenant, The Aviator, Wolf of Wall Street, and Once Upon a Time.

Those last 4 I only became aware of the the past 5 years, So I went decades thinking the lesser of DiCaprio, until only recently

This thread will get moved because it's in the wrong section, then deleted because it's too old.

Pearl Harbor gets a bad rap. It's not a terrible movie at all, but Titanic was comically bad.

I thought the same because he was flat out awful in Titanic. The Aviator was the first thing I saw him in that made me think he could actually act.
