Default Which was the Worst Three's Company Spinoff?

"The Ropers or "Three's a Crowd"?

I will have to say the Ropers, the show was Ok but it just wasn't as exciting as Three's a Crowd. You had two middle age characters living in the suburbs which made the show kind of dull. I did like the sex Wife of was the Ropers neighbor but not her dorky husband and son. So the Ropers was defintely the Worst

let's see Laugh out Loud with the Ropers or stare and not even smirk with Three's a Crowd? Three's a Crowd was no where near funny. Three's a Crowd was definitely worse than the Ropers.

I will say the Ropers was worse even though I'm going by memory of a show I only saw a few episodes of. I watched all of TAC and was disappointed when that was canceled. I think it had potential to get better during a 2nd season.

Hey Matt I can't let you get away with that statement-lol Please give me some examples as to why you feel TAC is not as good as the Ropers

Exactly, The Ropers didn't have much potential of lasting beyond 3 years but with the Jack Tripper character and some strong episode ideas, the show probably could have reached the top 30 the next year

It just wasn't funny. The Ropers was amusing. Stanley was funnier without making gay jokes at Jack on his own show. I liked the neighbors, especially the wife-lol On Three's a Crowd it just didn't seem right to have your girlfriend's father peeping in on you all the time. I also thought EZ was an idiot. I can't stand the surfer accent. Vicki wasn't funnier. Jack acted stupid. Three's a Crowd would have been better if he was married and lived next door to Vicki's parents. It would have made a lot more sense then.

I do remember reading that Jack and Vicki were going to get married and that Stuart Pankin who guest starred in one of the last episodes was going to be added as a regular character.

Well I will admit EZ was an IDIOT-lol But I liked the Interaction between Mr. Bradford and Jack. So what made funnier on his own show? Was it his Interaction with Jeffery?

The Marriage ep should have been Episode 201 and 202 if there was a season 2

I liked when Stanly talked to the neighbors son. I thought it was funny for a grown man asking an 8 year old for advice. I have seen about 13 episodes of George and Mildred (the show the Ropers is based of just in case you didn't know but I am sure you did) and I am glad they changed the name of the little boy. On George and Mildred it's Tristram-lol

The little boy was paert of the problem I had with the show because the show wasn't supposed to be a Family comedy and the fact that the little boy was a cast member made me lose interest. Then a 18 year old girl was added to the Ropers and I have no idea why-lol

I think I have only seen 4 or 5 Ropers episodes and I don't remember an 18 year old girl in the ones I have seen. I was reading that Helen's mom becomes a semi regular and the end of the second season.

Yea I think that's what they were planning. Maybe if they made Vicki's mother a regular too that could have helped. I liked her scenes with Mr. Bradford.

The 18 year old Girl was homeless and was found sleeping in the Ropers bedroom. This was toward the end of the second season
