Default Will the Mets will the NL?

I been watching the Mets a lot lately because The Phillies have been chasing them and it looks like I will be a Mets Fan until September. The only annoying this is it seems like everytime the Phillies lose, the Mets lose and win the Phillies win the Mets win but so far today the Mets are winning and the Phillies have already lost to the Nats. I'm hoping the Mets run away with the NL sometime in July

I think St. Louis will be in the mix and you can't count out the Astros. They seem to always make a late season run. If Puljos(?) is out alot longer than they think St. Louis could be in trouble. They've already lost quite a bit of games since he went out. Atlanta has been counted out before but this is the year that they don't make I think. Cincinati is playing waaaaaay over their heads right now. They were picked to be in the bottom half of the Central. Out West it will be a dog fight as usual. I think the Dodgers will come out of there. New York is strong! They will be tough to beat in the East. Have to see if Pedro can hold up all season though. Pitching may be their weak spot exspecially if one of their starters gets hurt.

You're not a Phillies fan?

Forget about September, be a Mets fan in October. They'll still be playing.

Mets will be in good shape, if they take 2 out of three from the Phillies it'll be a 7 1/2 game lead. 8 1/2 if the Mets sweep Phiily like they did the Diamondbacks this weekend.

The Mets have already won 6 out of the first 7 games on the road trip, but these three against the Phillies are the most important games of the trip.

I don't expect a sweep but I will settle for 2 out 3

I'm a diehard Yankee fan and I have to admit that the Mets look like a championship team.

Damn Eric Heilman almost blew it by giving up that 3 run home run, but Wagner did what he had to do and got the save. David Wright started a great double play in the ninth.

One thing I will say about the Phillies is that they don't go away easily, that's how they got the nickame-"The Fightin Phils"

As of now, I say the Mets will win the NL East but don't count out the Braves. They have won the division every year since 1991. Last year at this point, everyone counted them out and assumed the Nationals would win the division but the Braves came back. Although the Mets are playing extremely well, it is only June and anything can happen.

I don't think the Braves are winning anything especially when they have a worst record than the Phillies who is 7 and a half out

I agree with D.J., NEVER count out the Braves until you are 8 games up with 7 games left to play.

Mets up 7-3 in the top of the 7th inning, let's see if they can hold on
