You know how I've always been talking about wanting to have sex?? Well Jasmine's just showing me how much she hates me because she said she's gonna tell all her friends and our older cousin who's really cool and popular and probably wouldn't like me if she knew I wanted sex. She's (jasmine) gonna tell everyone all the nasty things I say and everything!
I mean I don't even talk like that anymore! God!

I hate this.....now everyone's gonna hate me because I act and talk like a slut!

I wish I could die now.....and take Jasmine with me. What should I do??

if you'd only understand that you're older, smarter, nicer, more emotionally experienced, and overall better than them, i'm sure you wouldn't get so upset over these things. honestly i wish there were something i could do to convince you of how much of a difference it would make if you just disregarded anything they say. they're merely adding fuel to the fire they started and watching it grow in amusement... if you stop, they'll stop.

I pretty much agree with everything everyone else has said, Nikki. From what you've said of your sisters, it does seem that, for the most part, you are a nicer person than they are...and, being older, you'll be a little more intelligent. As others have said, you shouldn't attach such importance to what they say. What do they know about anything?

I know it can be hurtful, and I know it's hard to ignore it...and telling everyone the kind of things you used to say is really horrible. Why do your sisters feel they must treat you like this? Is it possible that they're jealous of you?

Maybe you could try asking Jasmine kindly not to say anything to anyone...it may work...and if not, if people start to think badly of you because you used to talk about sex all the time, you could tell them that you were confused and upset at the time, and didn't understand things the way you do now; present it as one of those "phases" that teenagers go through.

Nikki, yeah. I would say what everyone else has already said. You really do have to put your head up high and just ignore their words. They just want to get a reaction from you. What they say to rile you up is not going to matter. It's not what is said about you but how you handle your reaction towards them. I do gaurantee that when you ignore them and they see they can't get to you, it'll become "boring" for them. Then, they will stop.

When they are older, they also ought to become more mature and will probably tell you they were jealous of you. I am sure they are jealous of you.

Jasmine said she won't tell unless I say one more word about wanting to have sex......I hate it how she can boss anyone around! And I can't not let it happen cause she thinks she's perfect and has the highest self esteem & confiidence anyone can have!

Maybe you could try to assert yourself a bit more where your sisters are concerned? They shouldn't really be able to just boss you around like that; you are the older one. Not that I'm saying that older siblings should boss around their younger siblings either...it's really the parents who are in charge.

You could tell your sister that you just don't care what she does; you're mature enough to be above this kind of behaviour. And as swedeace said, try not to give them the reaction they want. Smile and hum your favourite song the next time they try to get you angry.

Or - the next time they start picking on you, why not give them a hug? That would really confuse them. It's usually best to react in a way that a person won't expect; that way, they're caught off guard and temporarily, at least, aren't sure what to do. So next time they start annoying you, you could try hugging them and telling them you love them. Apart from it being a nice thing to do, they should be completely confused!

I can understand if they have a question and are afraid to go to your parents but I don't get why you are talking about your own sexual feelings with them. When I was your age I usually talked about that stuff with friends, not younger kids.
Second of all, your sister does not have high self esteem. If she did, she wouldn't act the way she does, always teasing you and now trying to blackmail you. She's behaving the way people with low self esteem do.

Well then your parents need to contact the school or whatever and let them know what's going on. I find it very disturbing that 10/11 year olds are telling each other on a daily basis that they want to have sex. And the fact that your sisters let these boys talk to them that way just proves my point even more, that they have low self esteem and very little respect for themselves. Your sisters are being sexually harrassed, not complimented by these boys. I just hope that they come to realize it soon or they're going to end up pregnant or worse in the near future and believe me, those guys won't be anywhere around.
