Looking for the Then Came Bronson 14 disc set floating around...

not the 7 disc set from the TNT network.

There are at least 2 different 14 disc sets floating around that I know of and both were made from TNT airings.

One is from Ron Evans of e/p partners, has Panasonic text menus and is okay quality. The pilot movie is in black and white from 16mm film.

The other looks to be very nice quality at first glance, but appears to have been made in a bad dvd recorder as all the discs from various traders who have it all suffer from picture breakup, freezing etc. Would love to find the off-broadcast VHS tapes that set was made of and make a nice set of it.

I was able to get Ron Evans' tapes and was able to improve upon his set by editing out ads and using better equipment in general, but it still is not as nice as the other (except it doesn't freeze or break-up).

Give and take. I'd prefer lower quality source footage with a digitally clear SP disc than watch the mosquito noise/pixelation that accompanies most LP discs.
