Default Ratings Information for 1977-78 Season that's wasn't listed on the Internet

I found the ratings that wasn't listed in TV books or online for what's happening during the 1977-78 season since it was beyond the Top 30. The ratings for that season was #41 and the following season the show reached the Top 30 again.

Information was found in 1978 Ebony Magazine

Wow, that's something else, granted that WH was supposedly one of the most popular sitcoms back during that time--and especially during the first season of 1976-77...
There were a lot of factors that greatly affected the show's ratings after that, though...such as backstage disputes, monetary/salary disputes, the auto accident that Dee was involved in, and so forth.

Interesting info, though! Good call and post, there, Solomon!
We can always count on you for the "rare info finds"!

The show actually fell to #65 during that 77-78 season but was able to gain some momentum and finish at #41

Question Hmm, Solomon...

I'm wondering the same thing as you are, Briennas... were these ratings posted while Mabel was on WH or after she left?
BTW Solomon, I was wondering if you happen to collect all of the retro editions of most of the major magazines such as Life, Ebony, Jet or anything else? Because you sure can bring forth some valuable and rare info here! I should go into my uncles' "vaults" and see what retro mags and papers they have on hand...LOL, not kidding...

No she was still seen during that season but slowly being phased out. The show actually did better AFTER she left the following season

I collect mostly Jet, some Ebony but I'm usually able to get a lot more information from Jet than Ebony. Also the #41 ratings was while she was still on the show and then the show reached the top 30 again after Mabel left

The TVParty article does touch on that a little with how the show suffered as it was moved around during that season.
