Default The Difference of Mork on Happy days and on His own show

I was never a fan of Mork and Mindy but I will say I enjoyed both of his apperances on happy days but for some reason his character was changed into this WACKO once Mork & Mindy Started. On happy days the Mork Character still acted like he was from outer space but once he got his own show the character just because too much for my eyesight. I wonder why they felt the need to change the Mork character after he left Happy days

I think that they allowed Robin Williams more freedom, once he got his own show, to ad-lib and improvise (which was his specialty as a standup comic).
After all, his idol was the wonderful Jonathan Winters (who is pretty manic and
uninhibited himself). That's just my opinion/observation.

(Even the Disney studio pretty much gave him free rein when he voiced the Genie in
the cartoon "Aladdin.")

I think I liked him better with the SpaceSuit on rather than trying to be Human.

The Mork on Mork and Mindy was more Robin Williams than anything else.

The ruined the show after the second season, they should have left well enough alone. If ain't broke don't fix it.
