Default Have y'all notice this about Ned The Wino.....

OK, first his wife gives the Evanses first prize for the nicest apartment only because they cleaned up/sandblasted her husband back to respectability.

Second thing is that Ned went back to being dirty and filthy after that day. Each episode he appeared in after that, he was back to wearing that beard. And those clothes!!!!

They should've retired his part after that. It didn't seem right that they would make him go back to being a bum.

I can't believe the wife wanted to take him back home just because she seen him polished off. She even said he had the same breath. Why take him back after 8 years of living on the streets, he's infested, he probably caught something.

Oh yeah, I noticed he did go back to being dirty after that.

I guess they were trying to show that he was a true alcoholic. Nothing can reform him if he doesn't want help. Sure the wife took him home, but a shower and clean clothes doesn't change an alcoholic. Duh.

Also, did he wear the same suit that the Evans' gave him in the funeral episode when he gave Flo that turkey?

I'm not sure. I thought he was dressed as a bum that episode.

He was dressed rather nice, considering. He seemed cleaned too.

But it was rather ridiculous for his wife to take him back after all that time. You think she would have gotten over him. Also, she mentioned that her mother still lives in their home...Ned made a face...that's probably what made his drinking worse, living with his mother-in-law.

I don't recall Ned looking filthy after the Evans' cleaned him up. He was clean in both the Big Move and Spot on the Lung episodes.

Talking Funny episode, though...

It was a really funny episode, when the Evanses got Ned all cleaned & slicked up like they did...
He couldn't move or shut his mouth due to the shock of actually being clean!! LMAO

And when James told everyone (except Ned, of course) about "gettin' those gray socks off of him," come to find out that Ned wasn't wearing any!
How filthy is THAT, when you can't tell sock color from true dirt...Mmmm, LOL
