I'm not really into either of 'em. Godsmack are just a rip-off of Alice in Chains and Korn are the poor man's Limp Bizkit.
But if I HAD to choose between the 2, it'd have to be Godsmack. At leat they have choons!

Mossopp, I have to disagree with you about Korn being a "poor man's" Limp Bizkit. It's certainly the other way around. Limp Bizkit and especially Fred Durst are egomanical jerks who think they are playing rock 'n' roll. And I'm not even a fan of niether Korn or LB, or Godsmack for that matter. I mean, Korn were first in that whole lame nu-metal scene, but they were FIRST.

True, Korn WERE around before Limp Bizkit but that doesn't make 'em better. Korn may have started the whole nu-metal scene but Bizkit (as far as I'm concerned) perfected it.
Also, it's true that Fred Durst isn't the most humble man on the planet but Jon Davis doesn't half whine on and on. Always going on about how hard done by he is - that really annoys me.
And I don't like Jon's voice. Perhaps if Korn had a different vocalist I might like them better.
So Cokies - if you don't like nu-metal, what music DO you like?

OK, I'll settle this -

THEY BOTH SUCK. Word, Cokies. Korn was first, but the style is so very tired.

Hmmm, do I have to list everything? Alright, I'm listening to a lot of The Clash, and newer punk like Rancid, Less Than Jake, and the like. I also love Oasis, and Blur, and Coldplay, Travis, Stereophonics, and the rest of that whole "Britpop" scene, or whatever they call it now. Whatever it is called, it's good music. Better than Limp Bizkit...by far.

Oh! And Moby too! Fat Boy Slim... Daft Punk, Chemical Brothers. Really, the list goes on...
