Default Wtd; Japanarama--wacky Japanese TV shows...

There were 3 videos released some years ago that had clips of some of the craziest game shows you've ever seen. The stuff they did would never make it on TV in the U.S. Check out this site. I believe the videos are no longer in print:

I'm not sure if this is on any of the tapes, but years ago I saw some clips on some funniest video type show. One show had guys on a baseball diamond sticking their butts through the backstop (a part of the fence was cut out just enough to fit it through). A pitcher would fire baseballs at their butts. The challenge was to hold out the longest. The winner advanced to the next round for more fun challenges.

Has anyone seen this movie:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0286975/

The whole time I was watching it all I could think was that it would probably be a real show soon. The reality junk is getting so out of hand.

I would love to get these as well if anyone has them. Also there was a Japanese betting show called Bonsai that aired in Canada several years ago I would love to get that too.

Those Japanese games shows are hillarious.

Bonsai aired on Fox a few years ago and Comedy Central showed a few episodes in repeats for a couple of months not to long ago. It was either last summer or the summer before that so maybe you will be able to find it.

The actual name of the Japanese game show is "Endurance" aka "Za Gaman". There is a 90 minute DVD available:

I like horror movies. I picked this movie up and watched it last night. It was real bad!!! I didn't know if the actors were just that bad, or since it was a parody of a reality show, they acted like they could not act. They remind me of what William Hung said after his performance on American Idol... "I had no professional training"...no kidding!!!

Oh, the acting was horrible. I was rooting for the killers, not that thier acting was any better but they were supposed to be like that (plus one guy played two or three of them). It's a good movie to watch when you don't feel like thinking too much
