Thumbs up Napster substitute...

Those looking for another FREE mp3 swapping music service don't need to look further, because I was informed from a friend that www.kazaa.com is just as good as Napster, AND without those lousy copyright junk.
I just downloaded the program, and it's just as simple as Napster. And not only can you find audio files, you can find video files, images, and much more. I highly recommend it.

Thumbs up

Thanks Cokies! My brother has been asking me to find something because with Napster, when you try to search for something, no files can be found. I'll download this ASAP! Thanks again--you just saved me time in looking for a program.

Cokies:

Thanks for posting about the substitute to Napster. I downloaded it last night and it is great. Napster was getting to be a pain in the ass. Thanks again!

Oh, do I have a complaint! I wa downloading some files, mainly for use on a new site I WAS building. One of those files though turned out to be the LoveLetter virus. Due to problems with my antivirus, needed to say, after trying everything (And I tried everything), I had to use the recovery CD's and set it back to factory conditions. Six months of work down the drain. I liked the program, til this virus got in. Now,
.

Aaaaaargh!

Like Madness, I too am wondering about whicch program gave you the virus...Napster or Kazaa. It's typical of Napster, but if it was Kazaa, well...sorry about that. I haven't had any problems with program, and neither has my friend who informed me of the service.

.....unfortunately, like viruses.

I know I done said this but I gotta say it again.

Remember that old LoveLetter virus. That's the main one circulating right now on it.

My recommendation: Unless you got a really good antivirus program, wait and download AFTER they release a virus-proof (or as close as possible) version.

When a virus cost me 6 months of work and easy modification to 3 websites, I spread the word.

I could still work on them, but I REALLY don't wanna learn HTML cause with the way those sites were, I woulda had to learn some big stuff
