Default Which Roseanne did you prefer?

Which Roseanne do you all prefer?

The first few seaons I enjoyed Roseanne the most because of her sarcastic wit, sense of humor, down to earthness, plus she was so understanding and she had some respect for people. She had love for her husband and kids not overbearing.

The last few seasons of Roseanne I didn't like Roseanne much. The family was out of control. Roseanne just became down right rude and nasty and uncaring. She had everyone scared of her, she attacked everyone but no one could attack her. She was just mean to her husband Dan who really never did anything to her. I think Roseanne didn't respect Dan because Dan never really showed he was respect-worthy or head of the house. I think Roseanne lost respect for him like any woman would for her husband. Many women wanted Dan but Roseanne sometimes took him for granted. Roseanne became too controlling with her grown kids. She sometimes seem to just spit venom out at everyone.

I liked the seasons 1-3 Roseanne better, she was more motherly. Season 4 Roseanne became more of a friend type to her kids and she did become more rude and nasty.

I loved Roseanne from seasons 1-5.

Although, with the DVDs now showing the full show -- I'm beginning to see why the edited out certain parts.

The one thing that bothered me about Roseanne's performances was that she was always laughing and smirking. Even if she had to deliver a serious line she'd be smiling. I know that they had to do a million retakes with her.

I liked Roseanne better in the early seasons. In the first few seasons, she was my favorite character, but in the last few seasons, she was one of my least favorites. She seemed to get alot meaner as the show went on, and I didn't much care for that.

The seasons before she got the plastic surgery. But I really loved the first couple of seasons. Her lines were just funny as hell and she was more motherly. I loved how she interacted with D.J the first two seasons.

thats tough, I do agree she did get meaner in later eppys so I would pick earlier ones too but she always had that certain charm... I liked the later ones cause I loved Leon, he was so funny with her so I guess I pick both or... all the Roseannes!
