Thumbs up Letterman or Leno?

Okay, basic "Who do you like better?" question. Leno or Letterman?

Personnaly, anybody who is chosen to be a successor of the great Johnny Carson is something. So, 1 point for Jay. But, Letterman has the classic Top Ten List, which always entertains. But then again, Leno has the oh so funny Headlines and Jay Walking segments. And Jay has better guests, AND he he simply funnier than Letterman.

So, I definitely perfer Leno over Letterman.

Conan over Kilborn as well. Kilborn is just a big joke...He should go back to ESPN...

Between Leno and Letterman, Leno. But if I had to choose one, it'd be Conan. He's got to be the FUNNIEST guy on television!

Well I like Letterman then best. I do like Jay's headlines and walking segments but I just love it when Dave has Rupert Jee go out and make people upset and when Biff Henderson goes and out to site see other states and does some funny prankes.

Letterman is my favorite. He is the funniest, best interviewer, has the better band, better supporting cast, the top 10, etc.. I would give Jay the advantage only in guests because he is in LA and has better access to them while Dave has to wait for people to come to NY to promote their movie or what have you.

Conan has lost a lot to me when Andy Richter left, he needed him... I don't think he will ever find somebody like him so maybe that's why he hasn't replaced him but a sidekick would improve his show.

Jay Leno.

Of the two, I always thought he was better. I love his sense of humor. Headlines is one of my favorite segments that he does. I used to be a newspaper reporter, so I really crack up at all the editing errors in the articles that he shows. Also, the Jaywalking, Beyondo, and Iron Jay sketches are very funny too. Leno has some better guests. But I think his interviewing skills still need improvement.

Dave Letterman-- I'm not crazy about him. He always struck me as a smarta**. If he has a guest on that I like, I'll watch. He also has some cool musical guests. And his Top 10 lists are good.

Leno over Letterman!

But I have to agree with some of you Conan O'brien is the best!! Someday when/if Jay leaves the "Tonight Show" I would like to see Conan replace him.

I actually like them both, when I watch them, I flick between the two between commercials, so I don't really prefer one over the other.

You can't really compare them anymore. Letterman from the 80s was the best!!!!! I never really liked Leno, but I didn't really care for a political agenda while watching talk shows, so I ended up switching over to Leno during the election last fall.

Thumbs up

Yes, you are all right, Conan is the king of late night. And Jay is second right behind him... No wonder NBC rules the late night ratings...
