Mike Lookinland became a camera operator and movie production technician when he grew up.

I wonder how much he was influenced by Robert Reed's gift. He gave each of the kids their own movie camera before taking them on a trip one summer between seasons.

I think it's cool that he stayed in the business behind the scenes.

I think he was influenced by Reeds gift. It is nice that a gift influenced a life in such a positive way. I am sure that in the Home Movies video someone mentions that he used his the most. I could be wrong though.

He was probably a natural. Maybe it suited him more than acting. But his acting experience must have given him a unique perspective.
