Default A NEW BRADY SHOW!!!

The way I see it, if you want to watch the COMPLETE Brady series, you watch the following:

1.) The Brady Bunch (Series)
2.) The Brady Girls Get Married (TV Movie)
3.) The Brady Brides (Series)
4.) A Very Brady Christmas (TV Movie)
5.) The Brady 500 (TV Movie)
6.) Bradys on the Move (TV Movie)
7.) The Bradys: Big Kids, Big Problems (TV Movie)

Numbers 5, 6, and 7 are also know as ''the Bradys" series show. ABC made them into 3 movies.

Then you are done. None of that animated series and variety show crap.

SO IF YOU COULD CREATE YOUR OWN BRADY SHOW USING THE ORIGINAL CAST (Except for Robert Reed) WHAT WULD IT BE LIKE? INCLUDE TITLE AND SYNOPSIS

To me, the Bradys ended with Greg's graduation from high school in "The Hair Brained Scheme." That was the last time we had the Bradys, as one family, living in the Brady house... (even though Robert Reed wasn't in that episode).

Once it got past that point, when Marcia and Jan got married (in a joint ceremony, yeah, THAT'S realistic), then they started to get into the extended families . I couldn't stand either of the husbands, and once you get past THAT series, then the fake sibblings started appearing out of nowhere... fake Cindy, fake Marcia... Plus, I had absolutely no interest in any of the grandkids... We, as viewers, had a history with the original Brady kids... but to cast a few crumb-crunchers as THEIR children, and expect everyone to care about THEM as well, sorry, that doesn't work with me.

However, I did like both of the Brady Bunch movies... the fact that they were parodies of the original show was what made them great... it wouldn't have worked with a theatrical release showing us an update on the grown-up kids' lives.... and Sherwood obviously knew this too, since he only made TV movies with the reunited original cast.

Sherwood Schwartz wrote "A Very Brady Christmas", which gave it an authentic feel. I don't remember much about the others because they are not shown anymore, or else they are not available to purchase.

I liked the grandkids. Typical of the kids of 1988 to act that way. You have the mean ones the nice ones, the shy ones. Each of the grandkids had their own special quality. I hated the fake Cindy, and the fake Marica, but Cindy I was able to stand. The fake Marica, no. To me, the Brady Bunch ended with "A Very Brady Christmas." That was the last time things were good. The Brady's just changed everything and made it more scarry and life-changing.

Yes, good point... I mean, come on, Bobby becoming paralyzed after an accident in his first big race?? They didn't expect people to want to WATCH that kind of stuff, did they?

I always thought it was funny that Cindy wanted to go see this race that Bobby had entered, but her boss initially wouldn't let her... so then she talks him into letting her go by saying she'll broadcast the race on their radio station... now, I'm not exactly a racing fan, and if I'm wrong about this, then so be it... but how many people listen to automobile races on the RADIO? Seems that this would be much better suited for TV.

I've seen everything that was brady included like Brady girls get married(etc). A Very Brady Christmas was awesome. Except for no original Cindy in that one. I also really enjoyed Brady 500.

"To me, the Bradys ended with Greg's graduation from high school in "The Hair Brained Scheme." -Tweety

Right on!! I'm not a big fan of any of the re-makes or attempts to try and re-start the whole Brady thing, including the movies, however I didn't mind a Very Brady Christmas. Perhaps it helped that it was written by Sherwood, whatever the case may be, but to me, there is no Brady Bunch like the original that started it all.

Thumbs down

We all know that after the Brady Bunch ended some strange people had the idea of making the Variety Hour. Before that (while the show was running) the Brady kids was a fringe kind of spin-off. When the Brady Kids cartoon came out, it was pretty cool for it's time. I saw some clips of it, the idea was kind of cool (ok to tell you the truth the idea was kind of half worth it).

Then after the horendous Variety Hour came a show that seemed kind of an excuse to get some money. The show: The Brady Brides. The idea: completley useless!!! Then came the one hour special A Very Brady Chirstmas. Which had to be not bad. But no Sherwood didn't learn the first time!!!!!! He just had to do another one. The Bradys. It was the Brady Bunch all older just like A Very Brady Christmas but worse. If you ask me I think that some people tha really might of been fans in the show lost faith because of the waves of toxic television spin-offs made.
