Guys,
Watch "The Honeymoon" pilot episode carefully. When Bobby meets Cindy for the first time, she takes his hand and says, "I got a swell new dollhouse." Bobby says, "Dollhouse?!!!, Dad!!!" Mike says, "That sounds like fun!" Mike says, "Bobby, remember what I told you." But in "A Clubhouse is Not A Home." when the Brady's are debating whether everything should be shared equally or if men should have a place of there own, Carol says, "Well I'm sure if the girls had a dollhouse and the boys wanted to play in it there wouldn't be any problem." Mike says, "Oh yes there would! If my boys wanted to play in anybody's dollhouse I'd take em to a psychiatrist!" Mike never had that problem when Cindy asked Bobby to play in her dollhouse before the wedding!!! hahahaha!! Poor Bobby might have been scarred for life!!! Jack |

I'd thought of the same thing before, but there is a small difference. Mike told Bobby to go see Cindy's dollhouse in front of Cindy, Carol, and Carol's parents, and Mike and Carol had more important things to worry about than keeping Bobby occupied himself, so Mike thought it would be cute to tell Bobby to go see the dollhouse. Carol's mother even remarked right after that how cute the two of them looked together. In the later episode, Mike was speaking to Carol alone about what his real thoughts about boys and dollhouses were, so he didn't hold back in order to keep a situation light and cute as he did at the wedding.

Just my opinion, but I don't see the continuity problem. Mike's statement that if any of his boys wanted to play in anybody's dollhouse he'd take them to a psychiatrist, doesn't conflict with the pilot episode. They key word is "wanted" to play in anybody's dollhouse; Bobby clearly did not want to, but was rather forced to go see Cindy's new dollhouse.
