can remember is the daughter narrating about how her and her mom were inside their home, making pickles (I believe it was summer and somewhere in the midwest) and a bomb goes off, right outside the living room window. Can anybody else finish the rest for me? It's been bugging me for years and I never got to find out if there was an update or not. TIA

Lavender,
I believe you may be referring to the bombing of US Fish and Wildlife/park rangers house (it was his car actually but the explosion was so big it took out the windows of the house) in Nevada. I can't remember the victims name but its been on UM/Lifetime a few times (hopefully a little bump like this will help others come forward with the actual name). It came up during the 90s when Militia movements were thought to be the biggest threat to the US Government. As I recall the ranger had ticked off some cattle ranchers for his tough enforcement of policies involving the use of federal land. I remember the case to, they were making pickles, thought they heard a noise and went to the kitchen to finish making the pickles (which if you have ever jarred pickles is quite an involved process) just in time for the windows to implode. I don't believe there has been an update and the ranger and his family were transferred for safety reasons. |

That's it! Thank you. I've only been able to catch that story once and I couldn't remember who was after them and why. I hope I catch it again soon.
